ART Spell

At the beginning of this year, while browsing LinkedIn, I came across an AVAC post announcing an upcoming conference highlighting possible HIV vaccine and cure strategies. I submitted the required documents and was accepted to participate.

The experience was a memorable one, offering a three-day immersion into the medical science of clinical studies, research, and strides and strategies towards a vaccine or cure, as well as a visit to the Wistar Institute.

At the conference, which took place in February, in Philadelphia, I met amazing individuals from all walks of life–from researchers and scientists to activists, artists, medical doctors, as well as those working in community outreach.
