NHTD, the National HIV Testing Day, is a day to encourage people from all walks of life to get tested for HIV and know their status. NHTD was first observed on June 27, 1995.
As per HIV.gov, this year, the theme of NHTD 2025 is “level up your self-love, know your status.”
And once one knows their status, they can take action regarding prevention or treatment, stopping the spread of HIV, and, hence, helping end the epidemic, the pandemic.
